What we collect, and why

Short version: we collect your name, email, optional phone number and your quiz answers, so we can build your result and, if you say yes, send you useful things.

Who we are

Practical AI is the data controller for youraiarchetype.com. You can reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

  • Your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number.
  • Whether you are in the UK, so we show you the right next step.
  • Your answers to the assessment, and the scores we calculate from them.
  • Whether you consented to marketing, and the date and time you did.
  • Anonymous usage events, such as starting the quiz or sharing a card. These are tied to a random session id, not to you personally.

Why we can use it

  • Legitimate interests. We use your answers to build and store the result you asked us for, and to improve the assessment.
  • Consent. We only send you marketing emails or messages if you ticked the consent box. That is your choice, and you can withdraw it at any time. This is how we meet our obligations under UK GDPR and PECR.

Who we share it with

  • Supabase hosts our database and stores your record.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • HighLevel is our contact and email platform. Your details are stored there so we can manage the relationship. You are only added to a marketing sequence if you consented.

We do not sell your data, and we never will.

Your result page

Every completed assessment creates a page at youraiarchetype.com/r/ followed by a random code. That page shows your first name, your archetype and your scores. It does not show your email address or your phone number. Anyone with the link can view it, which is what makes it shareable. Ask us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep your record for as long as it is useful to us and to you, and we review it every two years. If you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted, we act on it promptly.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Contact us and we will help. If you are not happy with how we have handled things, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses browser session storage to remember a random id while you take the quiz, and cookies for the admin login. That is all.
